Dr. Rónán Collins is a medical graduate of University College Cork ( 1992) with a masters in medicine from Trinity College Dublin.

Originally from Kinsale, Co. Cork he now resides in Dublin where he works as a consultant in geriatric and stroke medicine and is a clinical associate professor in Geriatric Medicine at Tallaght University Hospital, where he initiated stroke unit care in 2009.

Active in clinical research and arts in health, a sports enthusiast and lover of nature, he is married with two student daughters.
